It's a tale of two college roommates rebelling against their drafts. Hector is dreading a bright future in the NBA and bristling against what is expected of him as a collegiate star by his Coach. Gabriel is facing a draft into the Army and a life (and potential death) that is opposed to all his values. It is a chaotic story from a chaotic time of two immature men and the impacts they have on those around them. It exists in the Nicholson cinematic universe between "Five Easy Pieces," and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and filmed in many of the same locations as those films and "Animal House."

Release Info:
Release Date: June 13, 1971 (USA) | Length: 90 min | Genre: Comedy, Drama, Sport | Certificate: R | Note(s): Most of the basketball players in this film are actually basketball players. I was not able to identify most of them because this was their only role, they were assigned generic roles and their names don't appear on their jersey's like they do today. I think Billy Gaskins and Ken Smith are actual players but am trying to "proove" it.
